Real estate investor Darren Casey hopes San Marcos will approve a smaller version of the mixed-use development he wants to build on Sessom Drive, the San Marcos Mercury reports. His original plan was rejected in January. Casey's new proposal includes 16,000 square feet of retail space, a 7,000-square-foot outdoor plaza area and 354 housing units.
