American Idol contestant Sanjaya Malakar made a big splash on the show with his crazy hair, Fanjayas (aka fans of Sanjaya Malakar), and lots of people who tried to get him voted off. Sanjaya was in the lead for the worst contestant on the show for a while, but he kept on hanging on. Sanjaya Malakar has now been kicked off of American Idol, but he's still in the press and blogs.

Season 6 finalist Sanjaya Malakar will celebrate his 20th birthday by performing at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill in New York City. The event will take place at 8:00PM on September 9, 2009.
