Teacher Tells Students Santa Isn't Real

It may be a good method, however, if you want them all to burst into tears.

A substitute teacher at a British primary school told a class of 25 seven-year-olds today that it's their parents, not Santa Clause, who leave presents out on Christmas morning. Naturally, parents are swarming the school with complaints, and the teacher who had this bright idea has been fired. One parent said:
My son came home and said that his substitute teacher had told the class that Santa doesn't exist. I thought it was wrong. He was distraught about it. He's only seven-years-old and it's part of the magic of Christmas to him. Apparently this teacher only worked at the school for one day. That's right: she dropped this bombshell on her first day on the job. Question: who is this "teacher" and why is she allowed around children? Believing in Santa is part of the magic of the Christmas, and these kids are going to remember this shameful incident forever. I suggest she pursue a career outside of education (or at least with the over-12 crowd).
