I recently blogged about a woman who had escaped the Warren Jeffs cult. Well one of my readers, D. Knox, sent me an update on the situation. The child molester and racist, Warren Jeffs has been found guilty of a variety of charges stemming from forcing young girls to engage in sex with old grungy men. Yuck! My heart goes out to those children. The leader of a polygamous Mormon splinter group was convicted Tuesday of being an accomplice to rape for forcing a 14-year-old girl to marry her 19-year-old cousin. Warren Jeffs, 51, could get life in prison after a trial that threw ... Read Full Story

There is hope for those involved in cults. If a cultist can hold on to even an ounce of sanity and patience, that member can escape! CNN is reporting that: Sara Hammon saw some of her sisters pulled out of school to be married to men they didn’t know. She dreaded a similar fate. And so, she ran away from home before she was old enough to drive legally. She left behind 19 mothers, 74 siblings, and a father she says could never remember her name, even though he repeatedly molested her. And, she left behind a culture she says was oppressive for young ... Read Full Story
