George Clooney woos ex

George Clooney has been bombarding his ex-girlfriend with flowers and texts.

The 'Burn After Reading' actor is reportedly desperate to reunite with Lisa Snowdon after being impressed by her skills on British TV talent competition 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

A source close to George - who has been single since splitting from Sarah Larson in May - revealed: "Prior to the show starting, George sent Lisa a 'good luck' text. It was the first time they'd had any contact for some time. Lisa was pretty amazed but assumed that would be the last of it.

"Instead, after the show George sent her another text which said something along the lines of, 'Wow!' "

It is now claimed the Hollywood star is planning to fly to England to watch the 'Britain's Next Top Model' presenter perform with dance partner Brendan Cole.

The source added to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Lisa and Brendan are dancing the salsa this weekend and all eyes will be on them - including George's.

"He has promised to send a bouquet to her dressing room and the talk backstage is he may make a surprise appearance in London in the coming weeks.

"Now that he's single, gossip is spreading like wildfire that he wants to woo Lisa back.

"Obviously everyone is desperate for Lisa to stay in the competition - if only for a glimpse of George!"

George and Lisa dated for a year from 2000, before reconciling in 2004.

Their reunion lasted less than 12 months before they split again, supposedly for good.
