"...And the Blind Shall See!" Don't bet on it! But Maybe the Ear Can Hear? Don't bet on that either. The response from the Christian Right about John McCain's pick for VP has been so enthusiastic and so deafening, that some of the other points vetted about her seem to have faded into the distant ether. Sound-wise, here's what their reaction might be likened to: From whispers to screams: Did Sarah Palin support Senator Ted Stevens when he was indicted? ( "sssshhh...yes" ) Did Sarah Palin support the building of "The Bridge to Nowhere?" (" ssshhh...yes " ) Does Sarah Palin have an unmarried ... Read Full Story

The Liberals are running scared and grabbing for anything to try and hurt Gov. Sarah Palin. We all knew Liberals crawled on their bellies and left a slim trail and these two stories prove it. Liberals are now trying to spread the rumor that Sarah Palin's fifth child was not really her child but belonged to her daughter. They claim Sarah Palin has claimed the child to be her own to cover any scandal it might bring to the family. They use as evidence that by the seventh month it was reported she only had a small bump in her belly and was not ... Read Full Story

Democratic blogs are a buzz with rumors that John McCain's running mate, Sarah Palin, faked her most recent pregnancy. Word on the web is that Palin's baby is actually her granddaughter , born to Sarah's daughter. Fueling the speculation was that the birth of the Down Syndrome baby, born April 18, 2008, was a surprise and even her staff were unaware she was pregnant until seven months into the pregnancy. Additionally, Palin's water broke one month before the baby was due yet she kept a speaking engagement in Texas then made the eight-hour flight to Alaska. Three days after the birth of Trig, Palin ... Read Full Story

I don’t know Sarah Palin personally. I don’t know if she is bubbly and generous, or crude and amibitous. I don’t know if she’s smart or dull-witted. I had never even heard of her before John Mccain announced that she would be his pick for Vice President. In the days since I’ve read about her, my first conclusion has to be that Sarah Palin is completely unqualified for the office of President, let alone Vice President. With a 70+ year old running mate who has a history of health problems, serious consideration has to be given to the qualifications of a vice-presidential candidate, and ... Read Full Story

While I've never been a big fan of the neoconservative movement, or the policies of the Republican party in general, McCain's VP pick has pretty much squeezed out any remaining hope for the right-wing as it stands now. I'm Canadian and a social liberal, so one can argue that my perspective on the current election may be somewhat detached. Still, it's interesting to watch the US Presidential race unfold as it has. I watched most of the coverage of McCain's VP announcement as it happened this past Friday, mostly on MSNBC's Morning Joe . The McCain camp faked out journalists by releasing misinformation on ... Washington DC, Nov 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The ‘Going Rogue’ author and former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin manages to keep herself in the news. The former vice-presidential candidate says the magazine's cover snap was out of contextI don't suppose that Newsweek's staff are too horribly stung by Sarah Palin's accusations of sexism. The self-styled pit bull with lipstick says the magazine was exploitative in its use of a cover photograph originally taken for Runner's World, of Palin resplendent in shorts, because it was used "out of context".However, it rather looks like it was Runner...
