Sarah Palin Calls Letterman 'Pathetic' Over 'Slutty Flight Attendant' Joke

Palin's recent New York visit was the subject of Letterman's "Top Ten Highlights of Sarah Palin's Trip to New York" on Monday night. Letterman drew "ooooo"s from his audience as he listed off number 2: "Bought makeup at Bloomingdale's to update her 'slutty flight attendant' look."

"That's pretty pathetic," was Palin's reply Tuesday. Palin was asked about the joke by conservative conspiracy theorist John Ziegler, who just launched a new radio show in Los Angeles.

"Oh good ol' David Letterman. What a commentary there," Palin said.

"It's very sad to not recognize... what this trip was all about. Attending an autism walk and helping the independent group living home in New York for those who have disabilities, and just doing some good things here for some good people in New York."
