Sarah Silverman on Jimmy Kimmel: 'I Just Love Him to Pieces'

It's John Mayer's lucky day! Sarah Silverman is the latest celeb to dish about her exes in the most recent issue of Playboy, so maybe the heat will finally be off the rocker for that whole "sexual napalm" debacle.

Silverman, however, is much more PG when talking about her ex-boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel, whom she dated on and off between 2002 and 2009. She said (via People.com): "We were together for so long and tried our best to make it work. I can think of him now and don't have that edgy feeling anymore. I just love him to pieces."

The comedienne added, "Sometimes loving each other isn't enough. You have to be responsible for your own happiness. You can't stay in a relationship because you're afraid of the unknown. But I will always love him. Sometimes I think maybe we'll die together in our old age or something."

But for the time being, Sarah has moved on to another man, Family Guy writer Alec Sulkin, who's apparently not the least bit threatened by her previous longtime relationship. Still, don't expect any wedding bells on the horizon for this 39-year-old: She swears she'll never tie the knot.

"It's just not for me," she says. "I'm a vegetarian, but I don't have a problem if you want a hamburger. Marriage, to me, is like eating meat. I think it's gross and f***ing crazy. It's this superbarbaric, old-timey tradition that no one remembers we don't have to do anymore."

But love? That's always on her mind. "I think Jimmy and I had every intention of spending the rest of our lives with each other," she said. "I love love. It's my top priority. Jimmy will tell you. I'm a good girl."
