Adelaide hit Wellington for six

Adelaide United 6 - Wellington Phoenix 1 (A-League, December 5, 2008) Adelaide moved to the top of the table with a resounding defeat of Wellington. Sasa Ognenovski and Cristiano netted in the first half, and although Fred scored for the Phoenix in the 56th minute, a Cassio brace, Cristiano’s second of the night, and Travis Dodd’s sixth in stoppage time completed the rout.
