This past weekend, SNL goofed on the 2012 disaster film by mocking up a fake movie trailer to make the film's title be about Sarah Palin running for president with Glenn Beck as vice-president. I can't find a clip online, but it was amusing. Anyway, today Politico writes:

The Dave Matthews Band rocked two songs on this past weekend’s Joseph Gordon-Levitt-hosted episode of Saturday Night Live, but it was Matthews’ killer turn as Ozzy Osbourne in Andy Samberg’s recurring sketch “The Mellow Show” that had fans abuzz. Jason Gordon-Levitt hosted Saturday Night Live last night and the Dave Matthews band was the musical guest. It was better than last week's episode with January Jones, but the writing on this show is just a disaster without Tina Fey. Jason Gordon-Levitt is very talented, however. In this skit, Andy Samberg is the host of a show called The Mellow Show. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Jason Mraz, Bill Hader plays Dave Matthews and Dave Matthews does...

20th Century Fox has debuted the teaser trailer for Date Night starring Steve Carell and Tina Fey as a married couple who go out on a romantic date and get caught up in some crazy shit. "Saturday Night Live" opened last night with a sketch lampooning Fox News's election coverage. Yes, the 2009 elections dominated cable news coverage consisted of exactly two gubernatorial races and two congressional seats, but that didn't stop Fox News from spinning it as a referendum on Obama's presidency. SNL's sketch focused on a panel lead by Greta Van Susteren (aptly played by Kristen Wiig) of three conservative voices and Joe Trippi...

I'm starting to like SNL a little...Okay, I know that I should be grateful that a "big star" like Charlie Sheen is lending his celebrity and trying to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project...BUT, Sheen is a 9/11 Truther. He believes OUR government perpetrated 9/11...so MUST think the troops are fighting needless wars...right? I don't know, I feel like him raising money for them is almost disrespectful to them. Am I reading too much into...
