I guess SNL is funny and all, but the mention of Tina Fey in the rules section reminded me that I saw Alec Baldwin in Central Park today. He was by the Boat House restaurant right across from the Borscht Belt turtle guy. Man, oh man, that Baldwin has one great big cranium! He must have to have his hats specially made. And that turtle guy, he’s still funny. #saturdaynightlive Nesbiteme

Taylor Swift hosted SNL last night, and got in on the "Twilight" fun by teaming up with Andy Samberg and crew to bring us the world premiere of the "Firelight" trailer. “Saturday Night Live” aired a very funny digital short tonight that parody’s “Twilight”.  The short was called “Firelight” and it stars Taylor Swift in the Bella Swan role.  Since anything I say will just spoil the parody, check it out after the jump.  It’s definitely worth watching. As the most recurring hosts of "Saturday Night Live," both Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin have learned something about entertaining a live TV audience. Martin, who hosted "SNL" a record 14 times in its 31 seasons, has hosted the Oscars twice before, in 2001 and 2003, with a droll, well-received approach.  Baldwin, a three time Emmy winner for his role on "30 Rock," has hosted "SNL" 13 times but has never hosted the Oscars (he has lost one...  

We don't think that this was the criteria used by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, but as it happens, the two men who have hosted "Saturday Night Live" the most in that show's history will co-host the 2010 edition of the Oscars: Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. (According to Wikipedia, Martin has hosted "SNL" 15 times, and Baldwin 14 times.
