Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal said that US backing for Israel gave the Jewish state the option of not making peace, in an interview published on Wednesday. Saudi Crown Prince and Defence Minister Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, absent from the country for more than one year for medical treatment, will return within several weeks, his son said Sunday. "He has completed the treatment period and stopped taking medication about two months ago," his son Prince Khaled bin Sultan said, according to a report on the official SPA news service. A chef is suing a Saudi Arabian prince, alleging that he routinely worked up to 14 hours a day with no overtime pay or time off at the prince's Beverly Hills estate. Pedro Gomez filed the lawsuit Wednesday against 69-year-old Prince Saud bin Faisal bin Abdul Aziz al Saud, his wife and daughter in Los Angeles Superior Court. The prince could not be immediately reached for comment. He is the foreign minister of Saudi Arabia. Gomez says he worked for the prince from 1999 to March 2009, when he was fired.
