For the sake of discussion, I'm going to operationally define faith as belief in something with out elaborate and accurate evidence of its truth--as though it were belief without proof. Having said that, I think it's impossible for us to live without faith. Without it, I think it would be unlikely to progress. On one end of the Equilibrium of Faith is complete understanding--facts and truths. Its opposite is complete ignorance, and together they make up the opposite forces of this Equilibrium...
