As well you might know I love the New Orleans Saints more than just about most things in my life (replace the Bud Light for the NO Saints in that beer commercial of recent and you get the picture).  That said, and whilst I am appreciative of the fact we are winning games we would normally loose in years gone past, I can't help but feel we've had a few weeks of fairly indifferent Saints displays (it's dem displays dat win dem championships laddy boy... or so my Irish innerself tells me). So I thought I'd scour YouTube for some New Orleans Saints highlights ... Read Full Story

This past week I've been concerned about Saints fan favorite Scott Fujita and his chances of playing on Monday Night Football against the Falcons.  The big man is returning from a strained left calf sustained in the week 6 win against the New York Giants. I decided to secretly track the Saints Linebacker and see how his recovery was going.  What you are about to witness is a man so dedicated to the Saints cause it's actually frightening. Shot 1 - Here he is studying game film ahead of the Dolphins clash.  Shot 2 - Steady progress by Scott see's him beefing up those ... Read Full Story

Name: Scott Fujita Hails from: Oxnard, CA Occupation: NFL outside linebacker Known for: Being culturally hapa (adoptive father Rod Fujita is third-generasian Japanese-American) but biologically Caucasian; bowing after making spectacular defensive plays; being called the "Asian Assassin" ; revering his grandmother Lillie, who gave birth to Scott's father while interned in Arizona during WWII; helping to secure a Saints win yesterday in their season opener against Tampa Bay, 24-20, with a 4th quarter-interception ; giving the people of New Orleans--who've just returned to the city after fleeing Gustav-- something to look forward to for a change. Poor little Reggie Bush.  No sooner does he put in a stellar performance against the St Louis Rams than his knee gets bent out of shape and he misses the Bucs game as highlighted in yesterdays Reggie Bush injury status post. The Saints RBs' career has been plagued with injuries and little wonder when you take a look at this video in which Reggie Bush gets jacked up first by Sheldon Brown of the

Bill Parcells. Oh, you sly fox. People may be fooled into thinking this Miami-New Orleans game is just about football. But it's so much more. It's two sons fighting for their father's affections, and it's going to be a bitter family affair. I'll elaborate. Bill Parcells was a football coach. He was a great football coach. The people who coached underneath him during his career went on to their own coaching careers of varying success. Coaches...
