Scott Peterson's Blog: Blame It On The Body

By Staff Account on
Scott Peterson told the jury that he went fishing. He described exactly where he fished, which boat he used, where he launched and docked, etc. Laci's body washed up...right there. This one piece of evidence is perhaps the most compelling, but definitely the most emotional, fact considered in the whole case. Scott Peterson was found guilty and he's now bringing his case to the general public in an attempt to win an appeal. He's embraced the idea of citizen journalism (or perhaps citizen...Read Full Story

Laci's Mom Outraged by Blog

By Tatiana Guertin on
Laci Peterson's mother, Sharon Rocha, appeared on Larry King Live Thursday to discuss her outrage over her former son-in-law's blog. Is it any surprise she's angry? It's recently been widely publicized that convicted murderer Scott Peterson has a personal web site, including a blog and photos of him and his deceased wife Laci. A single message from Scott discuses his conviction, which he interprets to be wrongful. Although it's not a crime to have a blog, it is understandable that Rocha would...Read Full Story

I knew some of these stories, but I learned more details. Without the help of books such as "Curious Gorge" by Scott Cook and "Gorge Classic Climbs" by Tim Olson, I would not have been able to find all the different climbs and interesting places to explore.

Scott Peterson has been posting material online.  He is trying to present evidence to support an appeal of his death row sentence.

One of the first items that he posted is an alleged timeline describing Laci's clothing during the week of her tragedy.  Here is an excerpt:

"A common misconception in this case is that Laci's body was found wearing the pants she had on the night before she disappeared; evidence that would point toward Scott. The truth, however, is that Laci's body was not found in the pants she had on the night before she disappeared."
