Star guard Scottie Reynolds managed just eight points on 2-of-10 shooting for the Wildcats (1-0), who are coming off a trip to the Final Four. Villanova guard Scottie Reynolds declared for the NBA draft on Tuesday, but will not hire an agent and could return to the Wildcats for his senior season. Reynolds has scored 1,620 points in three seasons at Villanova and led the Wildcats' run this year to their first Final Four since 1985. Reynolds could withdraw from the draft by June 15 and still retain his eligibility if he does not hire an agent. He is completing his classes so he can remain academically eligible.
