New York City agreed on Tuesday to pay the family and friends of Sean Bell $7 million, four years after police officers shot and killed the 23-year-old black man the night before his wedding day. Word is circulating that Nicole Paultre-Bell, the widow to police shooting victim Sean Bell, may run for the newly vacated Queens City Council seat.
