On the Seahawks’ first offensive play against Houston, Sean Locklear let Matt Hasselbeck get sacked. On the second play, Ray Willis had a false start, and then Chris Spencer botched the snap.
Yeah, the Seahawks’ offensive line still stinks, and coach Jim Mora has finally joined the rest of us in being fed up with it. Offensive coordinator Greg Knapp inexplicably has not done anything to fix the unit, so Mora apparently has decided to make some...

Jim Mora closed his eyes tight, playfully pausing when the name Matt Hasselbeck was mentioned. The Seattle coach was asked if he envisions his embattled, 34-year-old quarterback returning to the Seahawks in 2010. "Yes," a shut-eyed Mora said Wednesday after a reflective few seconds. That was about all for assessments, expectations or revelations from Mora on Wednesday, three days after...

Specifically, the now-48-year-old Seahawks coach recalls against whom Simpson romped through for that milestone in 1973. "The Jets," Mora said, before his team hosts rampaging NFL rushing leader Chris Johnson and the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in the...

Many things can happen at the bottom of a pile. A finger to an eye, a twisted arm, a sucker punch, the list goes on. But biting? At least according to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers it does. Rodgers accused Seattle Seahawks defensive end Darryl Tapp of biting him during the Packers' 27-17 victory over the Seahawks last season, an allegation Tapp steadfastly denies.

T.J. Houshmandzadeh finished practicing -- then sighed. "Long day," the Seahawks' top wide receiver said. "Long 24 hours." Houshmandzadeh returned to his team a couple of hours before practice Wednesday morning, after a boomerang trip to Louisiana to attend Tuesday's funeral of former Cincinnati Bengals teammate Chris Henry.

As the Green Bay Packers make their push toward the playoffs, they know a seemingly beatable team like the Seattle Seahawks can jump up and bite them. Literally, at least in quarterback Aaron Rodgers' case. Going into Sunday's home finale for the Packers (9-5) at Lambeau Field, Rodgers recalled an unpleasant moment in last year's 27-17 victory over the Seahawks: He said defensive end...
