Hey there - I'm Marie, IceBlue's new copywriter, and a member of the search-engine optimisation team.

As well as aiming to get our clients' printed materials word-perfect, I'm fine-tuning my knowledge of SEO every day. Getting all the latest SEO tips has made me think strategically about how I write web copy - not only do I need to befriend human visitors, but I want to impress our spidery search-engine friends, too. SEO might be a delicate science, but I think everyone would agree that a content-rich site with naturally placed keywords stands a great chance of getting strong organic listings.

In addition to this, I've just started training to be a Google AdWords Professional, taking some time out of each morning to work through the tutorials in Google's Learning Centre. By the time I'm done, let's hope I can bid for bang-on keywords on our clients' behalf, and write dazzling AdWord-compliant copy to match. Yeah! Duncan's already qualified, so it's good there will soon be two of us to work on that aspect of IceBlue's SEO projects.
