I have said it here many times-- convenience costs money. Here is another example:
I like Snapple iced tea, when I can't have homemade. The thing is-- they aren't cheap. However, I avoid paying top dollar for them and thought it would make a nice frugal math example:
At the cafeteria at work, Snapples cost $1.88 including the tax or $20 for 12.
At the supermarket, a 12 pack $11.99 for 12 or $1 a piece.
At Walmart, you pay about $8.00 for a 12 pack or about $0.66 a bottle.
