She has also modeled for Ralph Lauren, Levi's, Abercrombie & Fitch, Tommy Hilfiger, and Clinique.Selita grew up on Staten Island, NY and then Selita was discovered by a modeling scout at age 17 in New Jersey.. She admires supermodel Tyra Banks and in 2005 Banks said she was proud of her to be representing for Black women in Victoria's Secret.
