Diagnosis: Brain Tumor

I think it's terribly sad to hear that Ted Kennedy has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor called a glioma. I feel really bad for his friends and family...it's not easy news to hear. Of course, further testing is needed to determine the exact type of glioma. After that, the docs will decided a course of action for his treatment. The diagnosis is grim...people with aggressive gliomas are given about a year to live. If the glioma is slow-growing, the person may live up to five years.
