Vice President Evan Bayh?

Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana has been working his butt off for Senator Hillary Clinton’s campaign and we Hoosiers have probably seen Senator Bayh more this last month than we have seen all of him for the last 8 years. He’s hugely popular here in Indiana and it’s obvious why. He’s a great communicator, he’s energetic, and Hoosier women will argue he’s more attractive than John Edwards.

Everyone thought he would run for President in 2004 and again this time around, but again, he decided not to run.

But after seeing him campaign for Clinton, I can’t imagine Senator Clinton picking anybody except for him as a running mate if she gets the Democratic nomination… at least if she has a choice. In order to get the nomination, she may have to sacrifice her right to pick a running mate to appease Super Delegates at the Convention.

But, WOW, Senator Bayh would make a great Presidential or Vice Presidential candidate. I just wish he was a Republican.
