0, zip, nada, none. That is the number of Republican Senators that signed Majority Leader Harry Reid’s letter to Clear Channel’s CEO condemning Rush Limbaugh . Not a one! Obviously they used a different measuring stick when they whined and moaned about MoveOn’s ad. Partisan politics at its lowest! This post is licensed under a Creative Commons License . A group representing liberal Democrats is claiming credit for stalling legislation which would call for a blockade of Iran. The organization, Progressive Democrats of America (PDA), is calling for supporters to further work to back alternate legislation that would open a diplomatic option with the regime in Tehran. "Congress is considering two bills: one calls for provocation, the other seeks a diplomatic solution in the Middle East," says an email on the issue signed by Howard Jennings and... Read Full Story
For the past several months, there has been a quiet but steady whisper on the Hill about the possible impeachment of President George W. Bush and Vice President Richard B. Cheney. Much of this nonsensical drivel centers on the war in Iraq and has been spearheaded by the usual cast of nitwits: Namely, Sen. Carl Levin of Michigan, and the media chameleon Sen. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska. Now, fast forward to July 30, 2007, when Michael E. O’ Hanlon and Kenneth M. Pollack of the Brookings Institute... Read Full Story

Yesterday afternoon I posted on the treasonous remarks by Harry Reid. I do not use that term lightly but he has in fact shown his whole hand now. I also have never called a sitting Senator or President unpatriotic, but Mr. Reid has made it clear it is his goal for this war to end like Vietnam, us leaving and humiliated (even though we are winning *back then too!) just to gain political power for his party. The party of appeasers, quitters and believers of enemy propaganda. Harry Reid cares... Read Full Story
from The NY POST- April 24, 2007 -- Fresh from his declaration that "this war [in Iraq] is lost," Senate Demo cratic leader Harry Reid is moving quickly to hasten America's unilateral surrender. And to cast the Middle East into murderous chaos. Reid yesterday promised that the Democratic-controlled Congress will within days pass legislation requiring U.S. troops to withdraw from Iraq over the six months starting Oct. 1. Never mind that such legislation: * Likely wouldn't pass either house of... Read Full Story
