The New Year starts and already Sudan is in the news. A 33 year old American diplomat John Granville was shot five times as he returned home from a New Year’s Eve party in Khartoum. His driver died instantly while Mr. Granville died later in hospital. The US State Department and the FBI are sending a team of investigators to help solve the murder.
