The ‘Maverick’ delivering his best Straight Talk to his fellow colleagues :
1. Defending His Amnesty Bill, Sen. McCain Lost His Temper And “Screamed, ‘F*ck You!’ At Texas Sen. John Cornyn” (R-TX). “Presidential hopeful John McCain - who has been dogged for years by questions about his volcanic temper - erupted in an angry, profanity-laced tirade at a fellow Republican senator, sources told The Post yesterday. In a heated dispute over immigration-law overhaul, McCain screamed, ‘F— you... Read Full Story
Throughout this primary season the debate among Republicans has been who is the true banner carrier of the Reagan Revolution. It has been interesting to hear the debate because the real debate among conservatives should be who is the banner carrier of the Republican Revolution of 94. It is this segment of the Republican party who has been the most vocal but the most unrealistic in their desires. Reagan ushered in an era of government effectiveness, not government reduction. Reagan did not... Read Full Story
John McCain turns 72 today. Today is also the day he’s said to be naming his V.P.
If elected in November, he will be the oldest person to ever be inaugurated President of the United States. Is he too old ?? In my opinion, yes. Not just because of his age and the ailments you get when you’re older, but because it means the majority of his life, his adolescence, and his formative years, were spent a VERY long time ago. Talk about being out of touch.
There are good arguments on both sides... Read Full Story
The McCain campaign may not be the one receiving the majority of gay support. However, there does seem to be one prominent gay-themed outfit that's helping to fill the coffers: ManHunt.net
Yes, that's right -- the owner of the gay hookup site, Jonathan Crutchley, has donated $2300 to the cause of putting John McCain in office. Proof, background, and Crutchley's explanation can be found at Towleroad:

Dear CBS News: I want to thank you for reediting Katie Couric's interview with John McCain last night to make him look like less of a basket case than he really is. While I hate the man and wish him nothing but ill will, and pray that our party will come to its collective senses this September and not only remove him as the nominee but also kick him out of the party, I at least pray that we do not have someone like Barack Obama in the White House. We simply cannot afford to have four to... Read Full Story
I would like to discuss if Senator John McCain is eligible to become President. Our Constitution states that “No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.”. This is a very interesting fact that... Read Full Story

According to The Cornor on National Review Online the McCane has as a "a non-paid volunteer to the campaign” one Juan Hernandez. This bit from Dr. Juan Hernandez’s website is interesting: "A hybrid of two cultures, he is the first Mexican American to hold a Mexican Cabinet position, heading the presidential Office for Mexicans Abroad. The office, newly created by President Vicente Fox, seems tailor-made for Hernández, a trusted aide handpicked by the president to protect the rights of Mexican... Read Full Story
Found this interesting website. It's called earfl, and it looks like some aort of audio blog that is user generated. Definitely not like a podcast though at all. Takes people stories and posts them on the web for the rest of America to hear. Seems like a good representation of what ordinary voters are thinking about the candidates. Especially good for voters who do not really get the chance to see these candidates in person. Here is a story I particularly enjoy... http://www.earfl.com... Read Full Story
As election day is approaching and John McCain has all but sealed the Republican Nomination, it is time to take a look at who he potentially may choose to balance his ticket. McCain lacks with the conservative base and needs to select a candidate that appeals to conservative vot ers and independents alike. Several leading candidates for the nomination include: Joe Lieberman: Does Joe Lieberman really have a chance to be named VP? If McCain plans on winning, probably not. The independent...
