18 Days To Go! Sen. Joe Biden in Tacoma, Washington!

I can't believe we only have 18 days to go. I am excited! I am so ready for a change and I think it's going to come in the form of Barack Obama.

This election I have come to discover that I am more of a Progressive than anything. I WANT progression. What Bush did when he got into office was enable a fringe section of the Republican party to flourish and root itself into the forefront of our country's politics. We have to change that. Yes! I miss "old guard" Republicans like the deserts miss the rain.

I try not to hold ill will towards Neo-cons. After reading "Why We Hate Us" by Dick Meyer, I realize that I had been consumed by anger and disdain for them. I know that there are some that are racist, mysoginistic and ignorant as all hell. See Sarah Palin for example. At the same time, a good chunk are normal, God-fearing people just like myself. I choose to make my religion a personal thing, whereas some neo-cons, if not most, choose to vote that way.

I will attempt to be more cordial and a better person to these folks and about these folks. I can't say that I will ease up on Sarah Palin though. I am sooooo sorry! LOL

This Sunday, Joe Biden will be in Tacoma, Washington! Doors open at 12 pm, and the "show" starts at 2 pm. I'm thinking about taking the kiddies! I'm thinking that this could be an unforgettable experience for them. I'm raising little Progressives/Independents here. Gotta start them early! It's first come, first serve.
