Richard Burr is the opposite of a career politician! He's actually had a career, with a job like most normal Americans. He's not some lawyer that had his cronies put up the money for him to run. He's in the Congress because he felt something needed to change in Washington. Now, say what you want to about Marshall but Burr, don't pin that whole career politician thing on him.

John McCain is definitely a war hero, and I would vote for him over Richard Burr any day of the week. Burr has not stood up for service members, veterans, or their families. Burr has not represented North Carolina and the values of this state.
Cal will bring an informed, interested perspective to military issues, and he will give a greater voice to those who have served our country in this fashion.
