U.S. Senator Richard Lugar and Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Bennett have launched an award to recognize teachers, schools and school districts that are taking innovative approaches to help students succeed. The Lugar Education Patriot Award will honor educators, schools or schools systems that have faced challenges, but still achieved positive results.
