Frye was a one-time starter for Cleveland who gave the Browns a spark in 2006 when he started 13 games and passed for nearly 2,500 yards. He hasn’t done much since, however, starting just two games since.
He was traded to Seattle for a sixth-round draft pick in 2007 and spent last season buried on the Seahawks depth chart behind Matt Hasselback and Seneca Wallace.
Frye’s signing by the Raiders was first reported by Steve Corkran of the Contra Costa Times and is listed on the team’s... Read Full Story

The disaster continues. Perhaps Week 2 is a little early for all hope to be lost but things aren’t going to get any easier on the Hawks.
This week we saw more inefficiency from the airial attack, whose depleted receiver core took yet another hit (two, actually) yesterday. But on the flip side the 49ers pass attack, led by journeyman, J.T. O’Sullivan, was able to find holes in the Seattle defense and connect on some big plays.
Right now it’s starting to become... Read Full Story

The Bald Bomber starts another season for the ‘Hawks, looking to build on his legacy as the team’s greatest QB. He has looked great this preseason and Greg Knapp appears to sense what a weapon his QB is right now. Hasselbeck has looked very comfortable in the shotgun, which was forbidden under Mike Holmgren. When he is getting time to throw and has a variety of weapons, good things happen for the Seahawks. The question mark is his health... Read Full Story
The Bears take on the Seattle Seahawks for the first time since 2007, when they travel to Qwest Field for a 4:05 ET affair. Of course we all know about the QB situation in Seattle, Matt Hasselback might be able to go and if not Seneca Wallace will go.
Hasselback could beat you with his arm and Wallace could beat you with your legs. Last week when QB Seneca Wallace came into the game for the injured Matt Hasselback he immediately threw a one yard touchdown pass. The Seahawk possessions... Read Full Story

Sehawks starting QB Matt Hasselbeck is ready to assume his role as the teams leader in the 2009 season. Just don’t tell that to backup QB Seneca Wallace. Last season the Hawks were a pretty bad football team, but what it did was open the door for Wallace to come in and throw for more than 1,500 yards and 11 TD’s for an injured Hasselbeck.
Now Wallace is back on the bench, but wants to make it known that he has every intention of being a starter again in the NFL. “You always have to have... Read Full Story
This is the most important game on the schedule. This game will determine the rest of our season. Whether we pack up and play for next year or try for the unlikely playoff spot depends on this game. No matter what, it's still a point of pride to never lose to the Cardinals regardless of how the rest of the season goes. On to the preview. When the Hawks have the ball For the first time, the Hawks have their starting quarterback (hopefully) healthy, and they chose a pretty good game to return... Read Full Story

It’s been a sad, sad year for Seattle sports. The Mariners, picked by many to finish first in the AL West, finished the season with 100 losses and weren’t even able to get the first pick in the draft. The Huskies currently stand at 0-7, and the rest of the season looks bleak without... Read Full Story

The Seahawks made the first effort to salvage their dismal season on Sunday, however it was not a very strong effort to say the least.
Offensively:
Under 50 yards rushing, enough said. Our offensive line simply isn't that good, our backs are getting hit in the backfield either right after or as they're getting the ball. The Seahawks better be thanking Leonard Weaver right now, who made two great plays to score as well as Seneca Wallace who had a very... Read Full Story
