A community portal about Sex Pistols with blogs, videos, and photos. According to Wikipedia.org: The Sex Pistols were an iconic and highly influential English punk band, formed in London in 1975. The band originally comprised vocalist Johnny Rotten, guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook and bassist Glen Matlock. Although their initial career lasted only three years and produced only four singles and one studio album, the Sex Pistols have been described by the BBC as "the definitive English punk rock band." The Pistols are widely credited with initiating the punk movement in the United Kingdom and creating the first generation gap within rock and roll.
Punk '77 - London '08
"Founding members of the Clash, the Sex Pistols, Generation X and a collection of young bands have revived the spirit of 1970s London punk rock at a series of small gigs in the Clash's old stomping grounds in London's Notting Hill neighborhood. The first show saw ex-Clash drummer Nicky "Topper" Headon take to the stage for encores of Clash classics "Train in Vain" and "Should I Stay or Should I Go." It was the first time the pair had played together for 25 years. Subsequent nights have seen the Sex Pistols' Glen Matlock and Paul Cook step up from the audience to do show stoppers like the Pistols' cover of "Stepping Stone."

Geez, did Mick Jones just get divorced or what? Carbon/Silicon touring the US, him dancing and sweating with the cool kids in London, rockin' out again...nice. Joe Strummer is smiling up there.
"In 1977, you're on the never never
you think it can't go on forever
but the papers say it's better
I don't care 'cos I'm not all there
no Elvis, Beatles or the Rolling Stones..."
