Matt Lauer to Visit Seychelles

In Matt Lauer's popular year series, "Where in the World is Matt Lauer?" featured on the Today Show, the host will visit Seychelles Islands.

The string of islands has also been in the news recently for being the site a French luxury yacht was found, after being seized by pirates. The yacht, and it's 30 crew members were high jacked off the coast of Somalia, earlier last month, while returning from the resort isles.

Other than the crew, there were no passengers on the craft as it returned to the Indian Ocean and towards the Mediterranean Sea. The yacht consisted of four decks, two restaurants and indoor and outdoor luxury lounges. It can hold up to 64 passengers.

It's not uncommon to find pirates in these waters. In fact, they seize more than two dozen ships off the coast of Somalia a year.
