T oday is the 60th anniversary of the Communist rule in China, with big parades and much talk. Things have changed since then, but sometimes it almost seems that history is doubling back. I took two trips to Shanghai , one in October 2004 and one in February of 2005, and very much enjoyed the city. I found the Holga camera perfect to capture the mood of the city, especially in the early morning or late afternoon. The fact that my hotel room was on the 68th floor also helped in capturing a few rather spectacular views. Read Full Story

Yes, it’s the same lurid orange MG6 from a few days ago, but it’s looking brilliant. Some notes: The rear Chinese writing says SAIC, and the chrome badge is SAIC’s latest effort to boost the MG marque in China, and internationally once again. The MG6 will launch officially tomorrow, and we’ll be keeping you updated as per usual! I personally think that the red concept car in Shanghai was a much nicer color
