Shania Twain, OC is a very successful singer and songwriter in the country and pop music genres. According to Wikipedia: Her third album Come on Over is the biggest-selling album of all time by a female artist, and the best selling album in the history of country music. She is the only female artist to have three albums certified Diamond by the RIAA, and has earned five Grammy awards and nearly forty BMI Songwriter awards. She is married to rock producer Robert "Mutt" Lange and they have a five-year old son, Eja. Shania and her family currently reside in Switzerland and New Zealand.

Shania Twain and Husband Split

It's rare for a Hollywood marriage to last, but even more uncommon for a seemingly stable marriage to end after more than a decade. After 14 years of marriage, country singer Shania Twain and husband, music producer Robert "Mutt" Lange , are seperating.

Twain's spokesman Jason Owen confirmed the news in a statement today. "Shania Twain and her husband are sperating after 14 years of marriage," he said. "This is a private matter and there will be no further comment at this time."

The couple married in December of 1993, and have one son, 6-year-old Eja. The 42-year-old singer and 59-year-old Lange live a very private life, and have rarely even been photographed together.
