The Seahawks cruised to an easy 23-3 victory over the 49ers yesterday, taking the wind out of a San Francisco season that had been bolstered by two narrow victories. It’s a boy for NFL player NFL player Shaun Alexander and his wife Valerie. On March 3, Shaun and Valerie welcomed a baby boy, named Joseph Prince Alexander. Sean reported on his personal blog nine days ago that the baby is “healthy” and Valerie is doing “great.”

Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander is averaging 3.9 yards per carry through two games this year, which would be the second-worst mark of his career — second only to last year.
