RENTON, Wash. (AP) -- Seahawks running back Julius Jones will be a game-time decision for their game against the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.

Greg Knapp was having a San Francisco flashback. The former assistant to Steve Mariucci and George Seifert thought he was coaching another one of Steve Young's aerial circuses with the old 49ers. Seattle's first-year offensive coordinator was dutifully trying to follow last weekend's plan for the Seahawks to run the ball as much as throw it.  

Minnesota Vikings cornerback Antoine Winfield is inactive for his fourth straight game Sunday, against the Seattle Seahawks. Winfield has not played since Oct. 18 because of a foot injury. He was listed as doubtful on the injury report Friday. Benny Sapp started in his place. The Vikings were also without backup defensive tackle Fred Evans, who was ill for most of the week.  

Adrian Peterson doesn't know much about "poison pills" in contracts. All the Vikings superstar running back knows is that six-time Pro Bowl guard Steve Hutchinson is clearing holes for him. Josh Wilson is unlikely to play Sunday at Minnesota because of a concussion, leaving the Seahawks without a starting cornerback against Brett Favre and the high-flying Vikings. Seattle coach Jim Mora said after Wilson missed his third consecutive practice Friday that there is only a slight chance he will play.  

Aaron Curry is about to get an unexpected breather from the Seahawks. He's had so many life changes since April, he probably could use it. The dynamic outside linebacker turned 23. He became the fourth overall draft choice. He got married and became a father. He sat out the first eight days of training camp, then signed for $34 million guaranteed -- the largest assured cash for a non-quarterback...  

Justin Forsett set career highs with 130 yards and two touchdowns and the go-ahead score came on the Seattle Seahawks' third defensive touchdown of the season in a 27-17 victory over the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. Seattle (4-7) had been 0-5 on the road but ended the drought against the Rams (1-10), who have lost 11 in a row at home.  

Of all the alarms going off while another Seahawks season crumbles, the one sounded by quarterback Matt Hasselbeck rings loudest. "We can't get used to this," the three-time Pro Bowl passer told reporters in Minneapolis immediately after Seattle sunk to 3-7 with a 35-9 loss to the Vikings.  

Games aren't the only thing Jim Mora is losing. The Seahawks' coach just lost his workout buddy. He moved to Los Angeles. So the fiendishly fit Mora isn't sprinting up rugged Tiger Mountain near his suburban Seattle home for his renowned, pre-dawn runs much anymore. He's also losing sleep.  

The Seattle Seahawks' two starting cornerbacks have been diagnosed with concussions. Marcus Trufant and Josh Wilson didn't practice Wednesday, and Seahawks coach Jim Mora didn't specifically address their playing status for Sunday's game against Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings. "We'll have a couple guys that might be limited (in practice), but nothing serious,"...  

Seahawks running back Edgerrin James is downplaying the significance of playing Sunday against the Cardinals, the team that released him last spring.
