Astros give Shawn Chacon a one year deal

 
Houston Astros and Shawn Chacon agreed to a one-year contract worth $2 million. He has a career record of 43-58 and a 4.98 ERA with 36 saves with Colorado the New York Yankees and the Pirates.

“I had opportunities elsewhere,” he said. “My main thing was wanting to start and I’m getting an opportunity here.”
