This is something that has bugged me for a while now. The professional wrestling landscape has fallen a bit into a trap. It's pumping out very similar-looking wrestlers. Of course most have some sort of gimmick to set them apart, but let's look at who we're seeing on TV right now.
Look at your top guys on the WWE, TNA and ROH rosters. With the WWE you have John Cena, HHH, Shawn Michaels and Batista. TNA has Kurt Angle, Desmond Wolfe, AJ Styles...

With everyone talking about Sheamus going head to head with John Cena for the WWE Title, I wanted to focus on RAW itself. See, I have no issue with Sheamus in the World Title hunt, at least for one PPV.
I mean think about it, who else could they put in there that we haven't seen before? Orton? Triple H? Shawn Michaels?
Then you have people such as The Miz and Jack Swagger who seem to be in a small fued together, so they are out. Of course Kofi...

After watching Bragging Rights, I, like others, thought that we were just seeing Batista get ticked off after not winning the World Heavyweight Title and hurt Rey Rey out of anger.
But when SmackDown rolled around, he seemed to be a totally different character. He now looks like a heel, and that was the dumbest move the WWE could make at this point.
He was brought to help the face side of things, not the heel side.
Think of this, there are...

• The best match on Thursday’s episode of WWE Superstars was the opener between Cryme Tyme and the team of Dolph Ziggler and Mike Knox. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the result. JTG pinning Knox? Come on, now. I think it would have made for a nice surprise if the makeshift team “upset” the established team. Poor Ziggler was on the losing end again, but at least this time he wasn’t the one staring up at the lights.

Triple H showed once again why he is a class act with this compliment to his buddy Shawn Michaels after HBK and The Undertaker won the Match of the Year Award at the Slammys: "I just want to say one thing, if you haven't seen this match - you need to see it. You need to go out and get the WrestleMania XXV DVD and watch it, because it was a classic. And I can vouch for how good it was because I had to follow it and I didn't stand a chance...

Predictions for tonight’s WWE pay-per-view:
WWE unified tag team champions Chris Jericho and The Big Show vs. DX in a TLC match: I’m not sure if this is the “official” main event, but it is in my opinion. Judging by the way Jericho and Big Show laid out DX on Raw and the fact that one of the selling points has been that DX has never been tag team champions, I think Shawn Michaels and Triple H win the belts. The only problem is that I think a...

The MTV website has a story on Batista spoofing Kanye West's interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Awards. To read the article, visit MTV.com.
Powell's POV: Even the author seemed to think the spoof was dated. He concluded the article with the following: "Now that there has been a Kanye West parody at just about every awards show since the VMAs, is it about time to put the gag to bed? Or does it remain funny?"

While Triple H and Shawn Michaels insisted that competing in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship would do little to sever the deep bond between them, the allure of gold proved too much for the DX cohorts, who quickly turned on one another. As their alliance frayed, WWE Champion John Cena eagerly leveraged his opponents’ betrayal into an intensely fought victory.Things started out amicably enough. The Game and HBK even greeted the...
