I'm actually surprised this wasn't brought a lot earlier in the week, because now, it kind of rings of sour grapes, but Cleveland Browns defensive coordinator Rob Ryan doesn't think Shayne Graham's game-winning kick was good, and to be honest, the angle they showed on the broadcast seems to support his cause. "You can watch the tape," Ryan said Friday. "I'm not saying anything, but man, maybe the posts were crooked. Look at it." Ryan goes...

On Sunday, the field goal pictured above gave the Cincinnati Bengals a last-second overtime victory over the Cleveland Browns. It appeared pretty routine at the time. Shayne Graham booted it through the uprights, the officials positioned under the goalpost raised their hands to signal the kick was good, the Bengals celebrated, the Browns sulked and Rich Gannon was disappointed there was no kickoff afterward.

Yep. I'm ripping off ESPN. Hey, they do it to us bloggers all of the time. A growing concern -- well, it's so big we're not sure it's growing anymore -- is why the team's long snapper isn't, you know, long snapping. With 1:51 left in the first quarter, St. Louis snapped the football behind Kevin Huber's right ear. The football started trickling away towards midfield when one of the Broncos defenders tried to pick it up. Shayne Graham had none...

He tackled last week's officials. Then, he roughed up Bills quarterback Trent Edwards. Browns defensive coordinator Rob Ryan handed out his own punishment on Friday. During his weekly news conference, Ryan said Cincinnati kicker Shayne Graham missed his winning 31-yard field goal in overtime to beat Cleveland last week. Later, Ryan sent out a challenge to Edwards, whom the winless Browns will face on the road Sunday.

The Bengals continually shot themselves in the foot offensively in the first half.  It started with Shayne Graham missing a 32-yard field goal partially because of another bad snap by Brad St. Louis.  Carson Palmer had a pass intercepted by Ed Reed and returned for a touchdown.  With the Bengals driving near the end of the first half, Reed stripped the ball from Chad Ochocinco and the Ravens recovered the fumble. The second half of the game...

When Joe Flacco threw deep down the left side, Leon Hall was there to intercept. When the Ravens quarterback tried to go deep again, Johnathan Joseph picked it off. Nice symmetry. The Cincinnati Bengals' first-round draft picks have grown into one of the better cornerback tandems in the NFL, one reason why the defense is on the rise.
