The Blue Jackets have re-signed d-man Marc Methot, and forward Alexandre Picard. They have also signed forward Steve Kelly , who has played for the Oilers, Devils, Lightning, Kings, and most recently the Wild. All of the men were signed to one year two-way contracts, which is best for everyone involved, at least in my opinion. Mainly because last season we signed Sheldon Brookbank to a NHL contract, he didn’t make the team, was sent down but had to pass through waivers, and was picked up by the New Jersey Devils. It’s better to just sign a two-way contract just to be safe.
