A Los Angeles resident is claiming that Transformers star Shia LaBeouf scratched up her car in a recent fender bender. The problem? Shia's license has been suspended since January. Police stopped him last July, believing the actor was driving drunk, but Shia refused to submit to a test. As a result, they suspended his license until January 2010.

Comedian Jesse Coccoli told Celebuzz that Shia's truck bumped the rear of her Nissan while the two were merging at the intersection of Los Feliz Blvd. and Hillhurst Ave. She initially Twittered about the event before talking to the entertainment site directly, insisting that it was Shia in the other car. She said: I think I said, 'I can't believe you just hit my car going two miles an hour,' and realize, it is him. Shia had more luck with cars in Transformers.
Coccoli claimed that they exchanged contact and insurance information on the scene, but LaBeouf's team is denying the entire story. "This story is completely fabricated," his spokesperson said. "Shia was in Santa Monica with friends for the afternoon in question. This must be a clear case of mistaken identity."

It's hard to say who's telling the truth, given Jesse has stood by her story as well. If he is at fault, it stands to reason that Shia wouldn't want the news made public, given his vehicular track record.
