Peres said at a ceremony marking the 36th anniversary of Ben-Gurion's death. Israeli President Shimon Peres was rushed to a hospital for tests late on Saturday after fainting for a few moments during a conference in Tel Aviv, medics said. The 86-year-old Nobel laureate and Israel's elder statesman was treated by medics on the spot and then taken to the Tel Hashomer hospital for tests following his collapse at the Yitzhak Rabin Centre, they said.
