A houseboat maker in Wayne County, Ky., is turning to a new line of business: modular homes.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reports that Stardust Cruisers is part of a partnership to create a new product for houseboat makers, which have been hurt by the recession. Other participants in the project are Kentucky Highlands Investment Corp. and the University of Kentucky, according to the report.
