The Apprentice with Sir Alan Sugar starts on the 25th March. I can’t wait for the annual pressure cooker that is the BBC’s Apprentice programme. The Apprentice is about half-way through. Certain characteristic Apprentice traits are coming to the fore. Always remember that this whole process is really for entertainment and the editing can make people look completely different to who they feel they are. Noorul Is Apparently Different In Real-life Noorul has suggested that the editing made it look as though he sold nothing. However, I do think that Noorul didn’t do himself many favours by always looking very pensive whenever the cameras were on him. Watch out Trump, you’re up against a knight now. The UK version of The Apprentice stars Sir Alan Sugar as… well, The Boss… the one who fires people. Though in its fifth series outside the U.S., BBCAmerica is starting a run of the first series starting May 5th. Get set for a junior version of The Apprentice in 2010, with Sir Alan Sugar uttering those famous words "You're fired" to a bunch of teenagers.
