Like most other Six Flags parks, Six Flags New England is divided into two sections: the amusement park, which includes major attractions such as Superman - Ride of Steel, Mind Eraser and Batman - The Dark Knight, and their water park, named Hurricane Harbor.

Six Flags New England will celebrate its most celebrated coaster with 125 members of the American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE) on Sunday, October 25. BIZARRO, formerly SUPERMAN Ride of Steel, has once again received the Golden Ticket Award for Best Steel Coaster. The Golden Ticket Awards, hosted by Amusement Today, annually recognize the "Best of the Best" in the leisure entertainment industry. A lease termination agreement between the city of New Orleans and Six Flags has been approved by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Mayor Ray Nagin's administration announced today. The city and Six Flags had been in a legal battle over lease payments after the theme park operator didn't reopen its eastern New Orleans park after Hurricane Katrina damaged the facility. The city said Six Flags, which declared bankruptcy in June, defaulted on its lease obligations after the storm by ceasing to make $1.4 million in annual lease payments to the city and the New Orleans Industrial Development Board.
