Grand opening ceremonies for Marietta's new skate park next spring could include a visit from skateboarding legend Tony Hawk.
"We've sent a letter to Tony Hawk and said we would work around his schedule if he could attend our grand opening," Mayor Michael Mullen announced during Thursday's Marietta City Council meeting.
