Most people experience some level of anxiety when it comes to exploring new relationships and situations. For some, this anxiety can be crippling. Suffering from Social Anxiety Disorder is often labeled as simple shyness. Unfortunately, the disorder is far more damaging then the average person might think. Often it causes one to not only distance one's self from new opportunities, but it can also lead to shutting out all personal interactions period -even with close family members and friends.

Here is a platform for those of us who fall victim to this condition, and those who put up with us. Let's discuss the signs and symptons as well as share our coping skills - or lack there of. The hardest step in trying to conquer any social phobia is admitting to anyone that you have them.

If you have ever suffered from Anxiety or Panic Attacks, then you know all too well the symptoms that occur when an attack comes on.  For me, it was an overwhelming feeling of nervousness, my heart would start racing and I would feel "Hot Flushes" on my body followed by waves of anxiety. It usually happend when I was in a public place or a circumstance where there were other people around me, that I didn't know. After the attack came on, I would feel disconnected from everything going on around me, kind of a Tunnel Vision effect. It would always happen when I was young and in High School and would have to get up in front of the class. I was never able to adjust and those feelings of Anxiety and Panic Attacks followed me far into adult life before I was actually able to get the problem under control. A friend turned me on to a website that featured downloadable tools that I was able to use to finally put a complete stop to my Anxiety and Panic Attacks!! I couldn't believe how well this system worked! In just a matter of weeks my whole personality changed, and now I feel more in control! I applied this system and the results were absolutely impressive to say the least... my fear is gone!!
