President Ronald W. Reagan Before Ronald  Reagan was president of the United States,  he spoke out against socialized medicine as a private citizen even when he was a democrat. Ronald Reagan speaks out against socialized medicine in a 1961 video warning citizens to understand the constitution and understand that we we will all lose liberties if we go this route . Ronald Reagan was a private citizen back then. It’s over 10 minutes long, but if you believe in the constitution and indivdual liberty, it’s well worth listening to. The following is a video of Ronald Reagan from the 1961 Operation Coffee Cup Campaign ... Read Full Story

With the majority of the American people standing up against Obamacare, it is refreshing to see that more of us remember President Ronald Reagan’s cautions regarding socialized medicine. Those cautions are more relevant now than ever. Even though Obama seems to have changed his stance from ‘public healthcare option’ to ‘healthcare coops’, it is guaranteed that government would ultimately control the coops; so what is the diff? He has just changed his wording to try and shove socialism down our throats. Does he really believe we are all that stupid!? As a graying-baby-boomer who will be having more surgery within the next couple months and who's been disabled for 14 years, I see this happening and the Democrats have sunk so low as to try to SANITIZE this for everyone. Stop it NOW! To paraphrase Martin Niemöller: First they came for the elderly, but I was not elderly, so I did not care. Then they came for the disabled, but I was not disabled, so I did not care. Then they came for the infirm, but I was not infirm, so I did not care. Then they came for me, and there was no ... Read Full Story

In March of 2008, a survey of U.S. Physicians in the Annals of Internal Medicine revealed that a majority of Doctors favored Universal Healthcare.  We are told that there is a 'crisis' of healthcare in this country.  There are supposedly 40 million uninsured people, but many of them are healthy people who only need insurance for a catastrophe, or choose not to pay for insurance.  These people roll the dice and hope nothing bad happens.  They do the same thing with life insurance, dental insurance, and when allowed by law, car insurance (sometimes even when not allowed by law).  Somehow, having health insurance became ... Zomblog has written the real, very un-PC reasons for Why America Hates Universal Health Care, and why you should too. If the bill for your foolishness shows up in the form of higher taxes on me, then I unwillingly start to care what you do. And, trust me on this, you don’t want me turning my heartless judgmental eye on your foolish lifestyle. Because I’d have no qualms criticizing half the stuff you do.Do you want that? No. Do I want that? No...
