President Ronald W. Reagan Before Ronald  Reagan was president of the United States,  he spoke out against socialized medicine as a private citizen even when he was a democrat. Ronald Reagan speaks out against socialized medicine in a 1961 video warning citizens to understand the constitution and understand that we we will all lose liberties if we go this route . Ronald Reagan was a private citizen back then. It’s over 10 minutes long, but if you believe in the constitution and indivdual liberty, it’s well worth listening to. The following is a video of Ronald Reagan from the 1961 Operation Coffee Cup Campaign ... Read Full Story

With the majority of the American people standing up against Obamacare, it is refreshing to see that more of us remember President Ronald Reagan’s cautions regarding socialized medicine. Those cautions are more relevant now than ever. Even though Obama seems to have changed his stance from ‘public healthcare option’ to ‘healthcare coops’, it is guaranteed that government would ultimately control the coops; so what is the diff? He has just changed his wording to try and shove socialism down our throats. Does he really believe we are all that stupid!? Liberals do not know any other way than to control everything so that they ... Read Full Story

Most people are not aware that there are great alternative plans being brought before the White House. One of them is S. C. As a graying-baby-boomer who will be having more surgery within the next couple months and who's been disabled for 14 years, I see this happening and the Democrats have sunk so low as to try to SANITIZE this for everyone. Stop it NOW! To paraphrase Martin Niemöller: First they came for the elderly, but I was not elderly, so I did not care. Then they came for the disabled, but I was not disabled, so I did not care. Then they came for the infirm, but I was not infirm, so I did not care. Then they came for me, and there was no ... Read Full Story

It has come to my attention that there are forces afoot in Washington trying to force government healthcare on its people. This medical socialism cannot stand. It will lead to shortages, rationing, and eventually, euthanasia in order to provide the most people with the least medicine. When the government gets involved in your healthcare decisions, you no longer have a voice in your own care decisions. If we allow a single payer option, the government will interject itself into your end of life decisions. If we have a public option, the government will insist on care options, with which you may not agree. If ... Read Full Story

The Pelosi payroll tax will not force employers to buy health insurance for their workers. It will give them an incentive not buy insurance. The payroll tax will be a whip wielded by the state to drive Americans into a socialized health care system from which there will be no escape.
