Jarred Harrell pled guilty today to all charges (59 in total), including some not related to Somer’s murder. He recieved 6 life sentences, one of which is consecutive to the others, making it where he will never be a free man again. I like the statement Somer’s mother gave:

7-year old Somer Thompson disappeared in October 2009 as she walked home from her Orange Park school.
Apparently she stopped at Jarred Harrell's house, because she wanted to see his mother's dog. Harrell led her inside and murdered Somer.
