The aim of these free songwriting tips is to quite literally be helpful tips - not rules - that may work for you.&nbsp; There will be many contradictions to songwriting advice from any source, and rightly so, because some songs, well, they just work!! Be careful though if you are a newbie, if you go against everything we advise you may be successful because of the novelty factor, and this can lead to being a one hit wonder.&nbsp; Just something to bear in mind, established artists can be a lot more adventurous and experimental - they already have a fan base and buying market! Always be writing, anything and everything with no intention of analyzing it. You can always use this as your library where you pick ideas, words and phrases from later on.
