What inspires you when writing a song? Life events, films, books, love, tragedy… boredom? If you don’t have inspiration, songwriting can be a chore. Inspiration can be observation, feelings, opinions, if you put pen to paper with a blank slate, you are making things difficult for yourself.

On Mothers Day 2008 I released Musing Mana 5, Always There for my mom. It’s one of the first songs I wrote, and arguably fairly cheesy, but hey, it was “for mom” so she had to like it.

I am a pretty spiritual person and not afraid to admit it. I am actually very happy about it and glad to share it when someone expersses an interest. Consequently it is only natural that my spirituality spills over into other areas of my life, including my songwriting. Back from the dead! Yep...I have finally got a few of the new songs posted at . I'm still about 6 weeks behind. I have the songs done...I'll get them to you ASAP! I've started adding baass tracks to the songs just for fun. SO...I've added another step to the process. The good thing is that, I think, the songs sound better.
